Why wait until tomorrow to begin?

“The beginning is always today.”

Mary Wollstonecraft

Every day is the first chance to do something new. It’s the only time you will live and be alive. None of us are promised another decade, year, month, or even an hour. With this in mind, how do you want to spend your precious time?

What are the three things you want to write down at the END of the day today that will indicate that the day was a smashing success? These are not the things you’d LIKE to do, nor are they the things you have scheduled and will be happening by default. A ‘future back’ perspective empowers you to DETERMINE what is going to happen, and then you simply begin. You can apply this perspective and discipline to your year, quarter, or month. But the real work happens when you begin today. As Dr. Stephen Covey taught us, the second habit of success is to ‘begin with the end in mind.’ Be proactive and begin today.
