Are you living a grateful life?

“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity.”

Melody Beattie

One of the greatest gifts we can ever bestow on another human being is genuine gratitude and thankfulness for their impact on our lives. An authentic “thank you” can unlock a more profound connection in the relationship and convey genuine compassion and care.

I have written about gratitude many times on this blog (I didn’t realize how much until I searched this morning! Here is one for a reference regarding the power of keeping a gratitude journal). So much has been written and shared on the power of living a grateful life, and here is one of my favorites: “How gratitude changes you and your brain.”  Maybe even more impactful is this Ted Talk, “Want to be happy? Be grateful.” It’s worth watching, and then rewatching from time to time.

How are you applying the principles of gratitude in your life? How are you modeling gratitude for others?
