How are you going to spend your gift today?

“This is a wonderful day. I’ve never seen this one before.”

Maya Angelou

Was yesterday hard? Disheartening? A setback?

It doesn’t matter; today is new and fresh, a chance to make things right, begin again, drive forward, and most importantly, live with joy and appreciation.

Is tomorrow, next week, or next month filled with uncertainty, challenges to overcome, fear, and worry?

It doesn’t matter what tomorrow holds; you have the strength and resilience to face it. You can’t control everything, but you can control how you respond, and that’s what truly matters.

What you do control is how you step into today. It’s a brand new day, a chance to begin fresh. Start new, focus on what you can control, and be present.

Take a deep breath. You get to do this. Life is a blessing, and today is special. Make it count by being present in it.
