“It’s never too late to start. It’s always too late to wait.”
Jeff Olson
Theodore Roosevelt once said, “Comparison is the thief of joy,” which is profoundly true. Procrastination is the thief of future success and peace of mind, and it robs us of our ability to focus on the most important things. As leaders of ourselves and others, we must set the tone by avoiding procrastination at all costs. Yes, just like comparison, we are all susceptible to the temptation to put it off and ‘do it later.’ However, if we buckle down and get it done, we often find that the thing we were making such a big deal of in our mind wasn’t that big.
What do you or your team need to get done today? Why are you waiting?
