How will you give yourself to the accomplishments of others?

“No matter what accomplishments you make, somebody helped you.”

Althea Gibson

We are all shaped by the mentors and guides in our lives. Their influence has played a pivotal role in shaping us, whether positively or by showing us what not to do. None of us achieve anything entirely on our own. While we may work hard and accomplish great things, someone else helped to lay the foundation. Take a moment to reflect on this and acknowledge the role of your mentors and guides in your journey.

First, have you expressed gratitude to those who have helped you become who you are? Make a list, call someone today, and express your thanks.

Second, have you identified how you can help others? Consider your strengths and how you can use them to benefit others.

Why strive for accomplishments if we can’t positively impact the lives of others?
