There is tremendous value in finding purpose…

“Leadership is the capacity to influence others through inspiration, motivated by passion, generated by vision, produced by a conviction, ignited by a purpose.”

Myles Monroe

Continuing yesterday’s theme, I wanted to share core value #2 from the Arcqus Group. I am intentionally varying the order of these and sharing a quote that resonated with me today. If you want to learn more about Arcqus Group, visit www.arcqusgroup.com and sign up for updates. I am excited about launching this company and serving leaders in their growth and purpose of serving others.

Having a sense of purpose is so powerful. Without it, we are merely bobbing along in life, existing from breath to breath, meal to meal, living for the weekend, our next day off, Netflix show, etc. We have one opportunity to live this life; each moment is too important to be wasted without direction and meaning. As leaders, it is incumbent upon us to help connect the dots for those we serve and provide purpose and meaning for the work. Even the most mundane tasks can and should be linked to a higher purpose.

Arcqus Group Core Value #2 – “Purpose:”

Purpose: We are guided by purpose and act intentionally in everything we do. By aligning our actions with our values and goals, we empower leaders to lead with clarity and impact, ensuring that every decision and action is purposeful and meaningful.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

Behaviors that Demonstrate This Value:

  1. Goal Alignment: Consistently align our actions with the broader goals and values of the organization, ensuring that every task contributes to the overall mission.
  2. Intentional Decision-Making: Make decisions with clear intent, considering how they will impact the team, organization, and stakeholders in the long term.
  3. Clarity in Communication: Clearly articulate the purpose behind decisions and actions to ensure everyone understands the ‘why’ behind the ‘what.’
  4. Focus on Impact: Prioritize tasks and initiatives that significantly impact the organization’s goals, avoiding distractions that do not serve the greater purpose.
  5. Long-Term Vision: Maintain a long-term perspective in your work, ensuring that short-term actions align with and support the organization’s future vision.
