“Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all the others.”
Cicero
This is my favorite time of year. November draws us into a rhythm of reflection, a time to notice the good things in life we often overlook. It’s about thanksgiving – not just the holiday, but the practice. Yet here we are, halfway through the month, and it’s already slipping away. If we’re not careful, the moments meant for gratitude will vanish in the rush.
Gratitude isn’t something you stumble into. It’s something you choose. It takes slowing down, looking up, and appreciating the people, the moments, and the struggles that shape who you are.
So, who can you thank today? Who has been steady in your life, showing up in ways big or small? What simple joy have you experienced this week that deserves more than a glance?
Gratitude isn’t a feeling. It’s an action. Don’t let this season rush by without making it count.
