“Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment.”
Jim Rohn
Yesterday, I wrote about the one thing you needed to do to move forward with your goals. Discipline is the practice of doing what you DON’T want to do, especially and absolutely when there are things you would much rather do. It is the ability to do what you NEED in the face of much more attractive offers. Discipline is not just about doing the hard things, it’s about conquering the challenges that stand between you and your goals.
Discipline is the fuel that powers the engine of accomplishment. Without it, the machine won’t run. The fascinating thing is that when you DO something that requires discipline, it becomes easier to do it again. You can fill the tank by doing what you don’t want. So, are you making choices that will fill or empty your tank? Remember, each disciplined choice you make adds to your fuel, bringing you closer to your goals.
